“Such talent, brilliance, and camaraderie amongst us for this 29th Annual Festival “Beyond Boundaries”!! BRAVA each and e-ver-y-one!! It was a joy to Co-Host! STELLAR is an excellent virtual venue to present from… but, onward and upward… My guests enjoyed the show immensely, every minute, and cannot WAIT for us to go live in 2023!!” LAWTF Advisory Board Member, and Festival Co-Host
“Thank you so much for ALL you do for so, so many! I am truly humbled and deeply moved by this recognition. I am so thrilled to be able to introduce such amazing women to LAWTF.” LAWTF 2021 Integrity Awardee
“Adilah Barnes and the women who run this festival are Grade A. The talent at this festival and the quality of the shows are outstanding. Honored to have performed my critically acclaimed solo show, My Brooklyn Hamlet twice. Once for the festival and once for a Best of the Fest fundraiser. Excited to be called back to be a guest panelist for Empowerment Day in August. Always inspired by my fellow presenters and the amazing women who show up to learn how to bring their stories and talent into the world in a bigger way.”
Thank you sincerely for acknowledging my work as an emerging playwright and solo show artist. It was a pleasure to meet so many talented women sharing their experiences and stories. More importantly, thank you for being a resource and safe space to present work that is outside of the mainstream that is as provocative as they are entertaining. I was truly honored to be invited and I hope to work with LAWTF in the very near future.” — Festival Performer
