Sona Lewis is a Kathak Indian Classical Dance Instructor, Choreographer, and Artiste. Sona teaches Kathak as a government contractor and instructor at CRPD.ORG in Thousand Oaks, California. Sona was professionally trained in Kathak under renowned Guru Pandit Munna Shukla ji,
New Delhi, India for over 15 years.  Pandit Munna Shukla ji was a disciple and nephew of Pandit Birju Maharaj of Lucknow style (gharana) of Kathak Indian classical dance. Both late legendary artists have received various prestigious awards including those from the Presidents of India.

In addition to being an artiste, Sona holds an MS, and MBA and is a seasoned healthcare professional. She lives with her husband and children in Thousand Oaks, California.
