Barbara goes on a search for the truth of who her biological father really is.

Barbara Brownell appeared on Broadway in Play It Again, Sam with Woody Allen and Diane Keaton and Off-Broadway in The Ballad of Johnny Pot and at the Actor’s Studio in King Lear. Favorite films include Going Home, Someone to Watch Over Me, Behind the Candelabra, and The Master. TV appearances have given Barbara the opportunity to play everything from a Hooker (Ironsides) to a nun (Our House).

Other favorite TV credits: Malcolm in the Middle, L. A. Law, Mary Tyler Moore, Night Court (3), Mad Men, and Grey’s Anatomy. She has had recurring roles on Webster (Barbie) and M*A*S*H (Lt. Jones). Broadway World named her Best Leading Actress, Los Angeles, in 2018. In 2022 Barbara was selected to perform her solo show Finding My Light at the Namba, Solo Stars, and Santa Monica Binge Fringe Festivals. But what made her a star with her grandkids was being featured in the music video “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas X in 2019.
