Lynne Jassem has been performing her entire life. She broke into showbiz in the 50s as a 10 year-old Comoette on the Perry Como TV Show. In her twenties she traveled the country for three years with the Claude Kipnis Mime Theatre playing such notable venues as the White House, Lincoln and Kennedy Centers and PBS. Next she morphed into writing, choreographing and directing 40+ Industrial Shows. Lynne became one of the 5 Founders of The American Tap Dance Orchestra, who appeared on PBS and at The Cotton Club with Gregory Hines and Tommy Tune. Onward to the world of solo shows … Lynne toured her solo show Rhythm Anonymous all over Germany, teaching and conducting master classes. Her show Tapestry received the Bay Area Theatre Award.  From Como to Homo had 26 performances at Edinburgh Fringe to 5-star critical acclaim, received San Francisco Best of Fringe Performance and Best Storyteller from San Diego Fringe. Tapping My Way to The Nuthouse opened to great reviews across the US and Canada. Lynne was thrilled to be one of the first solo artists at SoloFest with her wonderful new show Being Richard Greene (now renamed “Tap Dancing With My Pronouns”) in Mexico (San Miguel de Allende) in March of 2024 after a great reception in both New York and Los Angeles. She has also performed this show at NAMBA Festival Ventura, The Hudson Theatre, LA, LAWTF at Barnsdall Theater, LA, Zephyr Theater, LA, Revolution Stage Co, Palm Springs and San Francisco at Brava Theater to wonderful crowds.
