Deirdre Marlowe

Marlowe has been a fan of all kinds of theatre and storytelling since she was a toddler. (Until recently, she was the only unpublished writer in her family, although three of her shows had been produced.) Shortly after it came out, she memorized many of the monologue's from Lily Tomlin's "ISO Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe," and was hooked on the power of solo woman's theatre. Marlowe is currently a consultant to micro and national nonprofits and an adjunct professor. She has been an entrepreneur, an educator (drama and public speaking among other subjects), and a leader of education nonprofits. After volunteering at many festival events for more than a year, she joined the Board where she hopes to expand and empower women of all ages through our educational efforts and contribute to the future of LAWTF
